PANORA FIBER • WWW.PANORAFIBER.COM • 641 . 755 . 2424 IN PANORA • 641 . 332 . 2000 IN GUTHRIE CENTER EMPLOYEE PROFILE Shane Murphy Customer Service Specialist Shane Murphy recently joined the Panora Fiber team as Customer Service Specialist. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and banking from Buena Vista University and an associate degree in accounting from Southwestern Community College. Murphy brings customer service experience to his new role. He said, “I worked at a bank in Creston beginning in 2014, then moved to First State Bank in Redfield. I always enjoyed the customer relationship part of banking. After hearing good things about Panora Fiber from an employee and their spouse, I became interested in this Customer Service Specialist job, which will allow me to continue working with customers.” His primary responsibilities will include responding to customer inquiries about products/services and billing, assisting with marketing, and handling other day-to-day tasks as needed. Murphy shared this about his life outside of work: “My significant other and I welcomed a little boy right after Thanksgiving, so that’s been a learning experience and a blessing. Otherwise, I enjoy hunting, fishing, golfing, gardening, reading, and time with family and friends.” There are people out there who love the challenge of researching why their home’s Wi-Fi network isn’t working right and figuring out what needs to be done to solve the problem. If you’re not one of them, Managed Wi-Fi is the easy alternative. ManagedWi-Fi is a Panora Fiber service which takes the hassles of Wi-Fi troubleshooting (and more) off your hands for $10.95/month. When you sign up for Managed Wi-Fi, we’ll handle a variety of Wi-Fi tasks for you at no additional cost: • Use of our advanced Wi-Fi equipment compatible with Wi-Fi 6 — a Residential Gateway router Gigaspire GS4220E and one Gigamesh extender GM1028 • Wi-Fi coverage where you want it in your home • Remote support from Panora Fiber, which includes the ability for us to view the Wi-Fi equipment and wireless connected devices to troubleshoot and fix issues • CommandIQ app to allow you to view all the connected devices on your network, set up parental controls or a guest network, run speed tests, change your SSID and password, and more If you don’t have Managed Wi-Fi and need in-home help with a router you purchased on your own, you’ll have to pay the hourly fee for a service call by one of our technicians. This can get pricey if you end up with a series of Wi-Fi issues. It all comes down to this: Using your devices on a fast and reliable home Wi-Fi network is lots of fun. But doing the work of Wi-Fi setup and troubleshooting — not so much. Why not let somebody else handle Wi-Fi? To learn more about Managed Wi-Fi, call 641.755.2424 in Panora or 641.332.2000 in Guthrie Center. Now’s a great time to sign up, since you’ll qualify for a 10% discount on selected Samsung TVs. Think Wi-Fi Troubleshooting is Too Much Trouble?

Cornerstone Group © 2022 PANORA FIBER • WWW.PANORAFIBER.COM • 641 . 755 . 2424 IN PANORA • 641 . 332 . 2000 IN GUTHRIE CENTER Paying Bills Online Offers Valuable Advantages Are you still receiving paper bills and paying them by writing and mailing checks? While you may feel comfortable with this method after using it for many years, consider making a switch to online bill pay. Why? Online bill pay provides valuable advantages including these: • You Gain Security – When you have printed bills and envelopes with checks in your mailbox, sensitive information could be stolen and used for identity theft. But when you receive and pay bills electronically, you communicate with your bank, utility, or other company via a password-protected online portal that uses encryption and other security technologies to keep your information secure. • You Save Time and Money – Why waste time finding a bill, writing a check, looking for a stamp, and walking to the mailbox? With online bill pay, you can pay in seconds or have your bill paid automatically each month through an Auto Pay program. You also won’t have to buy as many postage stamps or checks when you use online bill pay. There are two categories of online bill pay available. You can pay companies individually via their website, such as what’s offered with Panora Fiber’s billing. Or you can authorize your bank or credit union to pay multiple bills from different companies using its website or mobile app. There’s no need to choose one or the other exclusively. You can use either online bill pay method or both, depending on what best suits your financial needs. Panora Fiber’s online Bill Pay service lets you receive your monthly bills from us by email and pay them online with your credit card or debit card. You also have the option to choose Auto Pay to have your payment automatically deducted from your chosen bank account each month, so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to pay your bill. To get started with Bill Pay and set up your account, you’ll need a security code, which you can get by calling your Panora Fiber billing location: Panora at 641.755.2424 or Guthrie Center at 641.332.2000.
