One of the key values of RTC is to
support our local communities. When
we all pitch in, through programs like
Warm Hands & Warm Hearts, great
things happen.
Warm Hands & Warm Hearts collects
donated hats, mittens and gloves for
children in need at local elementary
schools. RTC distributes the items
when the weather is the coldest and
the need is greatest.
Items can be dropped off at the fol-
lowing locations starting November
2, 2015 and will be collected through
January 4, 2016:
• RTC Headquarters in Parshall
• RTC New Town Office
• RTC Watford City Office
• Garrison City Auditor’s Office
• Kenmare City Auditor’s Office
• Max City Auditor’s Office

RTC Survey Scam Alert

RTC customers are reporting online
screen pop-ups that fraudulently offer
a survey, supposedly from Reservation
Telephone Cooperative. THIS IS A SCAM!
The pop-up says there are several prizes
to choose from and asks for a credit card
number. This survey is NOT from RTC
and you should NOT enter your credit
card number.
You need to remain on the lookout for other
online scams. In the past, our customers
have received emails, appearing to be sent
from RTC, which asked them to change
their account password and reply with their
username, current password, and date of
birth. Once again, these emails were not
sent by RTC and were part of a scam.
We suggest you never share your private
information in response to an unsolicited
email unless you are positive you know the
sender is legitimate.
RTC customers have also received calls
and emails from someone claiming to be
fromMicrosoft or another large technology
company. In these scams, they offer to help
solve your computer problems or sell you
a software license, but instead they cause
computers problems and take your money.
