nights is a year-round routine for many

families. It can be especially fun, however,

during the holiday season. Perhaps you

SHOBE EARNS EMPLOYEE

EXCELLENCE AWARD

Jeff Shobe is the recipient of RTC’s

Exceptional Employee Award

for the

third quarter of 2015.

RTC Outside Plant Manager East Chad

Betz says, “Jeff is very courteous to

customers and is very involved with

the community. His dedication is not

just to RTC but also to our customers.”

Jeff was hired in November of 2011

as a Cable Locator. In August 2012,

he became a Combination Tech.

Jeff ’s duties are varied. He installs and maintains RTC’s Fiber to the Home network and

services along with assisting in our Kenmare and New Town Exchanges. Jeff also installs and

maintains wireless Internet and wiring, and installs cable TV and high speed Internet. He

also locates cable and works on security cameras.

Jeff is originally fromMohall and enjoys spending time with his family and his two nephews.

Jeff is currently serving on the park board in Kenmare.

The

Exceptional Employee Award

was developed to recognize RTC employees who go above

and beyond the call of duty. Nominations are made by fellow employees and it is awarded to

a deserving RTC employee quarterly.
